Young Thinkers Club is a warm, encouraging online club where children in Years 1–6 (ages 5–11) build speaking confidence, learn to debate, tell stories, and share big ideas — every single week.
"Should every school have a pet? Argue your case!"
The dragon was scared of mice. What happened next?
Stand up & say one thing you're brilliant at!
✦ Live sessions via Zoom ✦ Years 1–6 ✦
Every session is a 45-minute adventure in communication. No screens reading at children — just talking, thinking, laughing, and learning to use their voice.
Fun, low-pressure starters that get every child talking from minute one.
Age-perfect debate topics. Children learn to form opinions and explain their thinking.
Imagination meets structure. Children learn to build and tell a story out loud.
Confidence drills that teach children to speak up, disagree kindly, and be heard.
The other half of great communication. Children practise truly hearing each other.
The club grows as children do. New challenges added as the group develops.
We take safeguarding seriously. Before your child joins their first session, you'll have everything you need to feel completely confident.
The club founder holds a current Enhanced DBS certificate. Certificate number available on request. We follow NSPCC safeguarding guidelines.
We have a Safeguarding Policy, Online Safety Policy, and Parental Consent Form — all based on NSPCC templates — sent to you before your child joins.
Password-protected Zoom with waiting rooms enabled. Sessions are never recorded. Your child's data is stored securely under UK GDPR.
A parent or carer must be present at home during every session. We never communicate with children outside of scheduled sessions.
Sessions are kept intentionally small so every child gets attention, feels safe, and has plenty of time to contribute.
We never photograph, screenshot or share images of children without explicit written consent. What happens in session, stays in session.
Young Thinkers Club is for any child in Years 1–6 who has things to say and just needs the space, the tools, and the encouragement to say them.
Already full of ideas? We give that energy a direction — teaching them to structure thoughts, make an argument, and really be heard.
Some children have so much to say but need a safe, warm space to find their confidence. We meet them exactly where they are — no pressure, ever.
Oracy is one of the most important academic skills. Children who can articulate their thinking do better across every subject at school.
Year 1 is the perfect time to build these foundations — and it's never too late. From Reception leavers to Year 6, every child grows here.
I grew up in inner-city London. When I won a scholarship to a private school, something shifted — not just academically, but in how I saw myself. For the first time, I was in rooms where children were actively encouraged to speak, to debate, to have opinions and share them out loud.
That experience changed my life. But I also know it came by chance. I was lucky. And I've never stopped thinking about the children who don't get that chance — especially young Black children growing up in the same circumstances I did, who are so often brilliant but never given the space to show it.
I started Young Thinkers Club because of my daughter. I want her to grow up knowing that her voice matters — not in spite of who she is, but because of it. I want her to walk into any room, with any person, and feel completely capable of holding her own.
That's what I'm building here. A club where every child — regardless of background, race, or where they come from — learns that their words have power.
We're running a free pilot and we'd love your family to be part of it. Join a session, see how your child gets on, and tell us what you think. No commitment, no cost — just a chance to be part of something from the very beginning.
Thank you — we'll be in touch within 48 hours with everything you need to get started. We can't wait to meet your young thinker!
